Day twelve of the writing streak & 60.000 words
I reached 60.000 words today! Actually, I reached 61.000 words today, but the milestone I’m celebrating is the big round number.
Granted, I know that many of these words aren’t all that good right now – I’m apparently a very messy drafter – and I know for a fact that I’ll have to rewrite a whole bunch of them when the time comes, but for now I’m celebrating every milestone, because every new word, whether it is the right or the wrong one, moves the story forward, and for me right now that’s all that matters.
I’m immensely proud of myself for the work I’ve been putting into my novel lately, and I’m very excited about where all of these compounded efforts are leading to.
